Shane and I have been knowing each other since we were seven years old. Through out our years of growing up together we grew closer. The next I thing I knew we were in a serious relationship talking about marriage! Little did I know the engagment was coming sooner than I thought with a huge surprise planned.  The proposal was infront of our entire families! It was so much with everyone there celebrating the engagment. Now, we have a set date and we are in the beginning stages of planning our New Orleans Wedding!

Ms. Marilyn Clark, of Austin, TX is pleased to annouce the engagement of her daughter Kelly Nicole to Gordon Joseph Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald James Lewis.  The bride-elect grew up in Texas and Louisiana.  She graduated from Louisiana State University with her B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2005 and in 2009 she graduated from Walden University with her M.S. in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.  The bridegroom-elect grew up in Slidell, LA and graduated from Louisiana State University with his B.S. in Animal Science in 2001 and his MBA in Finance and Marketing in 2003.  The couple currently resides in Fitzgerald, GA with their two dogs, Ella Lou and Miley Lyn; where she is a freelance mathematics curriculum developer and instructor and he is the Sales Manager for Pace American, Inc.  They will be married on October 30, 2010 in New Orleans, LA at Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church.

The couple is planning an October 2011 wedding in New Orleans, LA. 

David and Kami, of the New Orleans Area, are proud to announce their engagement!

David and Kami 's first date was at Cafe' Pontalba in The French Quarter In New Orleans, followed by a long walk and talk down by the river. This was definitly the start of something magical!

David proposed to Kami at their home in the midst of a birthday dinner in honor of thier friend Lesley.

Kami is currently working for Elysian Fields Animal Clinic as a Receptionist. She is enrolled in Nunez Community College, earning her teaching credentials to achieve her goal of teaching elementary school children.

David is currently working as an Operation Manager for Freeman Decorationg Company.

The couple will marry in 2011 and will reside in St. Bernard Parish.

Patrick LeBoeuf and Ali Durso are excited to announce they will be tying the knot in downtown New Orleans October 9, 2010. The couple met 5 years ago at a Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity conference in St. Louis. Ali attended college at McNeese State University in Lake Charles and Patrick attended Holy Cross College in New Orleans. Upon both graduations in May 2007, Ali made the move to the Big Easy. September 9, 2009 Patrick popped the question on the beach on Dauphin Island, AL with a beautifully written poem. After honeymooning in Greece they will begin a new chapter of their lives.

  Kimberly Flynn and Mark Poussard are pleased to announce that they are tying the knot in Waggaman, LA on June 18, 2011.  The couple became engaged on May 23, 2009 at McAlister Auditorium where Mark proposed on stage in front of a crowd of people.   The couple have been best friends since middle school and began dating June 2, 2006. The couple will exchange vows at Our Lady of the Angels Church.

Mrs. Thelma Gray announces the engagement of her daughter, Miss Kia Gray to Paul Martin, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ramon Martin. The bride to be and groom elect both reside in New Orleans. A March wedding is planned.

Gizelle Francis Johnson and Ryan Jaison Banks, along with their parents, are pleased to announce their engagement. The couple became engaged on Christmas Eve 2009 when Ryan popped the question with an intimate and unexpected proposal that included a "fake ring" followed by the "real ring" stunner. Ryan and Gizelle will tie the knot on November 6, 2010 at the Piazza D'Italia in downtown New Orleans.

The Bride is the Vice President of Finance for the Urban League of Greater New Orleans and the Groom is a Plant Supervisor with Baker Ready Mix in New Orleans. Following a honeymoon trip to Willemstad, Curacao, the couple will reside in New Orleans, LA.

Kimberly is the daughter of Joseph E. Kolb and Maureen S. Kolb of Sunset, LA. The bride is currently a Junior at Loyola University New Orleans studying Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. 

Nathaniel "Sy" Aguillard is the son of Harry Kent Aguillard and Leslie Denise Aguilard of Eunice, LA. Sy currently works for Precision Drilling. 

Kimberly and Sy have set a tentative wedding date of May 21,2011 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception on Baroone St. 

Megan Lane and Brett Clark are tying the knot in New Orleans, LA on October 9, 2010.  The couple became engaged on April 9th in Rosemary Beach, Florida when Brett surprised Megan (a very hard feat to accomplish) with a stunning ring. 

Megan is originally from Southern California and Brett is from Orlando, Florida.  The couple met in 2008 when they both began the MBA program at Tulane University and began dating last year.  It seemed only fitting to be married in the city where their love began.  

The couple will exchange vows at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  

Tyson and I had been friends for a few years. But, he waited until the weekend I was moving unexpectedly to Atlanta for a new job to tell me he was in love with me! Literally, he had had WAY too much to drink on Bourbon Street and confessed his feelings.

All I remember thinking was, REALLY?! You couldn't of told me this a little sooner?

After getting through the opening of the two new restaurants in Atlanta and flying back and forth every other week, Tyson popped the question in Jackson Square!

Two months later I moved back to New Orleans to be with Tyson full-time!

The wedding is January 22, 2011 in the Dominican Republic. The theme is New Orleans at the beach.

Now, that is the short version- I can promise you that there were a lot more frequent flyer miles to our amazing LOVE story!

Robin A. Parker and Curtis J. Rodrigue, Jr. are pleased to announce their engagement.  Robin is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Clea E. Parker of Hammond, LA.  Curtis is the son of Mrs. June Rodrigue of McComb, MS and the late Curtis Rodrigue, Sr.  The couple will be married on October 16th, 2010 at Vintage Court in Covington, LA.   The Bride is the Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives for Auxiliary Services at Southeastern Louisiana University and the Groom is a Site Supervisor with ExxonMobil in Chalmette. Following a honeymoon trip to Crested Butte, Colorado, the couple will reside in Madisonville, LA.

Carrita Tanner is the daughter of Pastor Robert D. Tanner, Jr. and Denise Elaine Tanner. She is 21 years old and a student of nursing at Our Lady of Holy Cross College in Algiers, LA. Joshua Jacob Stewart is 26 years old and a student at ITT Institute in St. Rose, LA. He loves music and also working in computer website designs. He is the son of Davis and Beverly Stewart and he has four other brothers. They have set a tentative wedding date for June 4, 2011.

Alta Valliant and Peter Compton announce their engagement.

Alta is the daughter of Merrie and John Valliant of Wheat Ridge, CO and the granddaughter of James and Ann Valliant of New Orleans, LA. She is a 2007 graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in history and a 2009 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Masters degree in Information Science. She is a development associate at the University of Texas at Austin.

Peter is the son of Camille Compton of Cedar Park, TX and Mike Compton of Georgetown, TX. He is a 2002 graduate of Georgetown High School and will graduate in 2011 from the University of Texas with a degree in Nursing. He works in the Emergency Room at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.

An October 2011 wedding is planned in New Orleans.

Joseph and Linda happily announce their engagement. They became engaged on Valentines Day of 2009. Linda and Joe have much love and support for each other. She is completing her Master's and Joe is pursing his love for photography.

They are planning to be wed in New Orleans in March of 2012 and look forward to having all their family and friends come out to share the love, fun, and big day!

Carrie and Nathan are excited to announce their engagement!  The wedding date is set for March 19, 2011 at the Elms Mansion in New Orleans.  Carrie and Nathan met two and a half years ago in the Big Easy and have found true love.  They can't be more thrilled to share the rest of their lives with each other!
